I am a positive, enthusiastic and easy going individual with a passion for teaching and working with children. I have taught in the primary schools in a range of inner London schools. I currently live in Bogota, Colombia where I am learning Spanish.



I am a qualified play therapist and have worked therapeutically with children across London as well as being a private tutor.



I believe that children learn most effectively in a comfortable, supportive and creative environment where both educational and emotional needs can be met.



As a PGCE graduate and qualified Play Therapist this is the environment I aim to create for my lessons.

I will assess your child's current level of knowledge and skills, identify any gaps, areas of concern or ways to move forward and devise a plan with you to remedy these that takes into account your child's interests and preferred learning style.



I work with mainly with children aged 3-13 but have worked with older children and adults before - depending on the need.



My teaching, always performed with patience, good humour and creativity, will offer a number of advantages:

learning tailored to the child’s personal interests and learning style;

an understanding that lessons at home need to be both productive and enjoyable for the child;

resources offered that can be used during the rest of the week; and

expert guidance for parents about how they can enhance their teaching of their children with a wide range of practical strategies around the home.
